Benefits of Membership

1. NAPCE is the professional association for primary care educators. It negotiates with national bodies including COGPeD, UKCEA, RCGP and GMC. NAPCE also maintain links with other national bodies of relevance to educators. It aims to support educators and their workloads across the country.

2. NAPCE provides assistance with Induction, Training and CPD. Tools such as the NAPCE Handbook, accredited training courses, Masterclasses and annual conferences are all available to members.

3. Members of NAPCE receive a substantial discount for the highly acclaimed annual NAPCE National Conference.

4. Membership of NAPCE includes a subscription to Education for General Practice.

5. Members have access to the NAPCE web site. This provides a database of educational resources including teaching aids and assessment tools. It provides updates on activities and contact addresses.

6. The NAPCE provides guidance for the production of Individual and Practice Professional Development Plans. It also provides introductions to interprofessional learning and working with clinical governance. We aim to influence strategy to facilitate development of principals, non-principals and other members of the primary care team.

7. NAPCE provide a quarterly newsletter to keep you up to date with primary care education.

8. NAPCE promotes and facilitates networking with other colleagues nationally.

9. NAPCE is a supportive, facilitatory organisation. If you have a problem the NAPCE will put you in contact with someone to help and advise you. The strength of primary care educators nationally is that there is likely to be someone who can help and the NAPCE will help you find them quickly.
